Come spend two hours with me on the flower farm for a small-group, hands-on workshop all about growing and harvesting woody cuts for fall floral design.
This isn't just a farm tour. We'll walk the farm together and take an in-depth look at the woody crops I grow and harvest for my own floral customers.

I'll share what I've learned about growing each crop, including variety selection, where and how I grow them, timing, harvesting, and how I use them in my flower farming business.
You'll see the plants growing in the field, and I'll demonstrate how and when I harvest them so you can see exactly what I'm looking for when I'm choosing stems.
Most importantly, I want you to leave with the information you came for. We'll have plenty of time for questions throughout the evening, plus dedicated Q&A time so you can ask about what you're growing, what you're considering adding to your farm, or anything else you'd like to dig into.
Light refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided, so come ready with questions and enjoy time with a small group of fellow flower farmers!
WHAT WE'LL DO
We'll start with a brief tour of the flower farm before diving into the educational portion of the evening.
We'll walk through the woody crops together, talk through each one in depth, and do harvest demonstrations. Because this workshop is intentionally small, there will be plenty of time to slow down, look closely at the plants, and ask questions along the way.
You'll also go home with an educational handout you can refer back to as you plan and grow woody cuts on your own farm.

I want these workshops to be small.
This is your opportunity to actually get into the field, see the plants up close, watch harvest demonstrations, and ask your specific questions—not stand at the back of a big group trying to hear what's being said.
With only 15 people, we'll be able to slow down, dig into the details, and have real conversations about growing these crops on a flower farm.
